com because the latest update for my gpu on the amd site is from 2015. Right now I am currently using a modded gpu version (18.10.1) from bootcampdrivers. i’ve tried every driver version for my gpu and i’ve noticed that the oldest one i can download (13.25) runs slightly better, but with terrible input lag which makes it hard to aim.

I’ve tried every single solution i’ve found online, such as resetting my graphic settings in-game (also deleting the settings file in documents) and in my gpu settings, reinstalling my gpu drivers using DDU and making sure my drivers are up to date, messed with my in-game settings and made sure unnecessary windows settings were off. if I’m only with teammates and no enemies around, it doesn’t stutter much and my fps will even go around 70-80.

If it finally unfreezes/loads the map, it runs at about 10-20 fps with a lot of stuttering/mini freezing and character models won’t load for a couple minutes until it finally runs around 60 fps again but still with a ton of stuttering and horrible input lag. Most of the time it will start to reload the map with the black screen and overwatch icon at the bottom and won’t stop loading until I’m finally kicked.

I am running overwatch on a 2011 macbook pro with windows 8.1 bootcamp, I know my system is older and not really meant for gaming but I can get around 60+ fps with all settings on low and 50% render.įor a couple of months, though, whenever I start quickplay or any other game mode (except custom with bots) and i pick a hero, my fps drops below 10 and basically freezes for 30 seconds or longer with a black screen occasionally.
